Aside from Base Points, you can also earn Bonus Points from the items you purchased. It will be given to you if the price of the item you purchased exceeds the target price needed.

Fetch Rewards based the target price on an algorithm that is regularly changing. After calculating your receipt and taking into consideration the Bonus Points, the app will display the total points you will receive per item per receipt.

Aside from purchasing items from listed stores or brand, scanning your receipt will already earn you some points.

Fetch Rewards also has Special Offer Bonuses that you can take advantage of to earn more points. Fetch Rewards provides you with different listed offers that you can view within the app.

You just need to complete these offers to earn the offer bonus points. An example of these types of offers is earning a percentage back from items purchased.

For example, there’s an offer for 20% back, so if you purchase an item that is worth $10 and it provides you with 10,000 points, you will earn an additional 2,000 points from that purchase because of the 20% back offer.

Fetch Reward also has a referral program and you will earn 2,000 points for every friend you are able to successfully refer to the app.

As a member, you will be provided with a unique referral code that you will promote and share with people who you think will join the app.

The beauty of their referral program is that your friend will also earn 2,000 points if they enter the code you provided. They will receive the bonus points once they sign up.

Your referral bonus points will be reflected on your account after your first submitted receipt has been completely processed.

The minimum points you need in order to exchange them for rewards is 3,000 points.  You can exchange this for $3 gift cards coming from some of the popular brands, like Target, Amazon, and more.

There are no cash rewards, but the closest you can get is reward cards coming from Visa or MasterCard. The minimum amount you can redeem is $10 and it is worth 11,500 points.

What is Good about the Fetch Rewards?

Now that we have discussed and identified what is Fetch Rewards, it is time to talk about what is good with the app.

• Probably the biggest thing that I liked about this app is that it will allow you to earn something for already doing things that you normally do. Your weekly or monthly trip to the grocery store becomes more exciting and more meaningful because of the rewards that you could likely get for purchasing items.

• It is easy to navigate around the Fetch Rewards app and joining is also easy and free to do so.

• There are a lot of brands and stores that Fetch Rewards have partnered with, allowing you to earn almost every time you do your grocery shopping at any store. It is also good that you don’t need to buy specific products to earn points, just specific brands.

• The app also has a low payout, as gift cards can already be redeemed for just 3,000 points, making it easy for you to cash in your earned points.

What is Bad about the Fetch Rewards?

Not everything, though, is smooth sailing for Fetch Rewards, as there are things that they could improve upon.

• Probably the biggest letdown of the app is that it doesn’t really have any cash rewards that you can request to be sent via your PayPal account. Sure they provide rewards cards from Visa or MasterCard that can also function as cash, but I’m sure you would still prefer actually receiving cash to your PayPal account.

• It is not yet available worldwide, which can limit the number of people you can refer to join the app.

Is Fetch Rewards Legit Or A Scam?

Since Fetch Rewards is relatively a new app, it is still hard to say if it will turn out to be a scam in the long run or not.

But for now, all signs are pointing that the app is very much legitimate and you will really be able to earn money by doing your grocery shopping.

It really does pay you the necessary points that you earned and allows you to redeem your points for rewards once you have already earned enough.

You just have to make sure that the receipt you are scanning will contain items that you purchased from participating brands or it came from a participating store.

Just don’t expect to earn big here or that you can soon leave your job and just concentrate on this app. It won’t make you rich or even earn much money, but it can make your grocery shopping much more fun.
